Krisann Wellington
Krisann Wellington is not your average Jamaican-American gyal. Hailing from New York, New York, in a fresh-off-the-boat Jamaican household, she was flown straight to the suburbs of metropolitan Florida. Having spent most of her life surrounded by an abundance of artistic cultures and experiences.
Krisann completed a Studio Art BFA and a writing minor at Georgia Southern University, with a focus on digital illustration.
She enjoys creating characters that feel alive and detailed environments that invite other narratives than the presented one in focus. Krisann illustrates worlds that invites others to wander through them.
If she’s not at her 9-to-5 job or completing commissions, Krisann can be found at various Georgia artist markets, conventions, or a good Korean BBQ restaurant.
